tripleS member Kim Chaewon traded the stage for the pitcher’s mound on October 14, throwing the ceremonial first pitch ahead of Game 1 of the 2026 KBO League Wild Card series between the LG Twins and the Doosan Bears.
According to Sports Seoul’s photo coverage from Jamsil, Chaewon delivered the pitch with full energy and lingered on the mound to pose for photographers afterward. In the newest frame of the three galleries published by the outlet, she plants a kiss on the baseball for the cameras.
The first pitch came just before the Wild Card opener on October 14, 2026. All three photo sets were captured at Jamsil by Sports Seoul photographer Park Jin-eop, documenting the idol’s appearance from the mound to her final pose with the ball.
It was a straight celebrity first-pitch outing, and the photos told the whole story. The Wild Card series opener went ahead as scheduled following Chaewon’s turn on the mound.
