According to Sports Kyunghyang’s October 14 entertainment roundup, the YG chief producer used the official channel to lay out the company’s upcoming lineup.
BABYMONSTER will release a new song, “DESERVE,” on the 23rd, while TREASURE is set to drop “SHOCK” on November 2. Yang also revealed that the company is preparing two new rookie groups: a five-member boy group and a four-member girl group.
The announcement landed just two days after Lee Soo-man unveiled his own new group, and the early-morning timing did not go unnoticed by netizens, who were quick to point out the coincidence.
