Actors Yoon Jong-hoon and Han Eun-seo tied the knot on November 1, holding a private wedding ceremony in Seoul surrounded by fellow actors and close friends, according to Hankook Ilbo.
The afternoon ceremony was hosted by actor Park Ki-woong, with actor Bong Tae-gyu delivering the congratulatory speech and singer Younha performing the congratulatory song. Guests included colleagues the couple met through their acting work, and the venue stayed warm and celebratory throughout, the report said.
Bong Tae-gyu’s speech drew particular attention. Although he had prepared a long written speech, he set the draft aside and instead shared lessons from his own married life. Addressing the groom directly, he advised him to leave decisions to his wife and to turn to her, rather than to older brothers or seniors, in difficult times. “Trust and love your wife until the day you die,” he said, adding that Yoon Jong-hoon is a trustworthy and honest friend.
Younha, who sang at the ceremony, spoke about her own long connection to the bride. She said she had worked on a drama with Han Eun-seo more than ten years ago and had always found her to be a kind person, so she was glad to be asked to sing. A video the couple made themselves, tracing their long relationship, was also shown during the ceremony, drawing applause from the guests.
The wedding caps a relationship that began on screen. Yoon Jong-hoon and Han Eun-seo first worked together on the 2018 drama “Return,” where their professional collaboration grew into a real-life relationship. The couple announced their marriage earlier this year, with Yoon Jong-hoon saying a precious connection had come into his life and Han Eun-seo saying he had consistently stood by her with warm love.
The ceremony also came just days after a personal milestone for the bride. Han Eun-seo announced on October 26 that she had graduated with distinction from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, University of London, thanking her classmates for helping her settle into life in London. Yoon Jong-hoon, born in 1984, debuted on stage in 2006 and has appeared in “Reply 1994,” “Misaeng,” and “The Penthouse.” Han Eun-seo, born in 1994, debuted in the 2008 drama “King Sejong the Great.”
With the private ceremony complete, the couple begins married life after years together, celebrated by the colleagues who have watched their relationship grow.
