ATEEZ Unveils Striking Black Leather Group Concept Photos for 'GOLDEN HOUR : Part.6' cover

ATEEZ are turning up the intensity ahead of their comeback. KQ Entertainment has released the final group shots of the second round of concept photos for the group’s 15th mini album “GOLDEN HOUR : Part.6,” showing all eight members in sleek black leather styling, according to a report from Herald Muse carried by Naver’s entertainment wire.

The agency rolled out the second concept photos through the group’s official social media accounts between October 27 and October 30. The closing group images show the members in black leather outfits, pairing sharp gazes with confident, unrestrained poses to complete a striking, high-impact mood. In one shot, the members face the camera head-on; in others, they lean on each other, mixing individual character with a strong sense of togetherness.

The report stresses that unity as a visual theme. Even in matching styling, each member’s personality comes through in a different pose or expression, and the image of all eight together gives off a powerful presence. The group shots are the payoff to a staggered rollout: Soompi’s updated coverage of the comeback notes that the second round began on October 27 with photos of Hongjoong, Seonghwa, Yunho and Yeosang, continued on October 28 with San, Mingi, Wooyoung and Jongho, and moved to unit photos on October 29 before the group photos arrived on October 30.

The second round follows a very different first round. The group’s first concept photos, released between October 14 and 16, leaned into a looser, streetwear-driven look with oversized outerwear, vintage denim, leather and fur-inspired pieces, grainy black-and-white textures, cool blue tones and vivid green lighting. The second round swaps that relaxed energy for something sharper and more uniform: black leather, metallic details and a dark studio backdrop, with one of the latest group photos adding black headpieces that cover the members’ eyes for a more mysterious atmosphere, as noted in independent coverage of the release.

The photos arrive in the middle of a carefully staged comeback rollout. ATEEZ released the pre-release track “Drip” on October 23, warming up for the album with a performance-heavy song built around a powerful hip dance and forceful group choreography, according to Herald Muse. The report says the pre-release put the group’s performance strengths front and centre and raised expectations for the full album.

The track list, unveiled on October 26, confirmed the shape of the mini album. Soompi reports that “GOLDEN HOUR : Part.6” will contain five songs in total, including the pre-release single “Drip” and the upcoming title track “UP.” Herald Muse adds that the album reunites the group with the production team behind previous title track “BAD,” a continuity that has further raised anticipation for the new song’s sound and staging.

The mini album itself is due out on November 13 at 2 p.m. KST, a date confirmed by both the Korean report and Soompi’s coverage. It is the sixth instalment of the “GOLDEN HOUR” series and the group’s first mini album since “GOLDEN HOUR : Part.5,” released in June. That previous release gave ATEEZ their third No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard 200 and sold more than 1.88 million copies in its first week, according to coverage of the comeback, setting a high bar for the new chapter.

The wider promotion calendar shows the rollout is far from over. Coverage of the comeback schedule lists further concept photo rounds after the second round closes, with a third round due on October 31 and a fourth round scheduled for November 2 to 4, keeping new visuals coming right up to release week. That staggered schedule is by design: each wave of photos has kept the comeback in conversation for weeks before the album itself arrives.

For fans, the second-round group photos are the clearest statement of the album’s concept so far. The first round showed ATEEZ relaxed and free-spirited; the second shows them sleek, unified and confrontational, staring straight down the lens as a group of eight. With the title track “UP” still to be unveiled and the album landing on November 13, the black leather group shots set the tone for what the group wants this comeback to feel like: together, and stronger for it.
