BABYMONSTER has done it again. The YG Entertainment girl group’s “춤 (CHOOM)” music video crossed 200 million YouTube views on October 12, roughly five months after its May 4 release.
According to OSEN, YG Entertainment confirmed the third mini album’s title track hit the milestone around 9:30 a.m. KST on Monday. The video’s dynamic choreography and large-scale synchronized dance, matched with striking set design, have earned explosive praise from global fans.
The momentum dates back to release day: the MV shot straight to No. 1 on YouTube’s Worldwide Trending chart and topped both the most-viewed videos in 24 hours list and the global YouTube daily popular music video chart. The song’s performance video is also close behind, currently sitting at over 97 million views and approaching the 100 million mark.
With this achievement, BABYMONSTER now owns ten videos with over 200 million views. Their official channel — already the fastest K-pop girl group channel to reach 10 million subscribers, just one year and five months after debut — is nearing 13.4 million subscribers, and total channel views have passed 10 billion, also a record pace for a K-pop girl group.
Next up: the group unveils a new song on October 23 at 1 p.m. KST, with teaser posters teasing a dreamy, mysterious transformation. Their second world tour, “2026-27 BABYMONSTER WORLD TOUR [CHOOM],” continues on October 17 in Jakarta, spanning five continents, 18 cities, and 31 shows.
