BIGBANG has made history in Sydney, becoming the first K-pop group to stage a solo concert at Accor Stadium as part of the group’s 2026-2027 world tour.

According to Herald Muse, BIGBANG successfully wrapped up “BIGBANG 2026-2027 WORLD TOUR <XX: COSMOS> IN SYDNEY” at Accor Stadium on October 31. The report, published on November 2, noted that the stadium has previously hosted global pop stars including Taylor Swift and Coldplay, making BIGBANG’s headline show another milestone for the group.

The Sydney date carried extra weight because it was BIGBANG’s first solo concert in the city in 11 years, since 2015. Herald Muse reported that local fans who had waited years for the group’s return filled the seats, greeting the members with loud cheers as they took the stage.

BIGBANG opened the night with “FANTASTIC BABY,” “HANDS UP,” and “TONIGHT,” before moving through era-defining hits including “LOSER,” “Haru Haru,” “Lies,” and “BANG BANG BANG.” The setlist also featured solo stages that highlighted each member’s individual style, alongside new song “BiiiG,” bridging the group’s past and present for the audience, who answered with cheers and singalongs throughout the show.

On stage, the members thanked their fans directly. “Finally, BIGBANG is back. Thanks to V.I.P, the 20th anniversary was possible,” they said, referring to their fandom. “We hope this moment is the beginning of more time together. We will continue to make you happy going forward.”

The Sydney stop is part of a tour built around BIGBANG’s 20th anniversary and the group’s first world tour since 2017, performed by the three-member lineup of G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung. The run began in Goyang in August 2026, and the Asia leg included a sold-out three-night run at Taipei Dome on October 9 to 11 that drew around 100,000 fans, underlining how the anniversary tour has reconnected the group with audiences across the region after years away from large-scale touring.

BIGBANG will now return to Asia, continuing the tour at Bangkok’s Rajamangala National Stadium on November 7 and 8, with additional dates confirmed following fan demand.
