BTS Announces 'THE CITY ARIRANG - SINGAPORE' Month-Long December Project, the Longest in the Series cover

BTS will close out 2026 with its biggest city project yet. On October 19, the group announced “BTS THE CITY ARIRANG – SINGAPORE” through Weverse, a month-long celebration running December 1 to 31 — the longest edition of the “THE CITY” series to date.

According to reports from allkpop and K-POPIT, the project is being staged as a national-level event in collaboration with the Singapore Tourism Board, marking the first “THE CITY ARIRANG” edition ever held in Southeast Asia.

“This is the largest city-wide project undertaken in collaboration with a single artist, and we are proud to present this special experience,” the Singapore Tourism Board said. The board added that the first Southeast Asian edition “demonstrates Singapore’s ability to attract globally recognized intellectual property.”

Major landmarks will take part, including the National Gallery Singapore, the National Museum of Singapore and Resorts World Sentosa, alongside Mandai Wildlife Reserve, the Sentosa Development Corporation and The Kallang Group. The series began in Seoul in March with BTS’s comeback and has since traveled to Las Vegas, Busan, London and New York, transforming each city’s landmarks with the themes of the group’s fifth full-length album “ARIRANG.”

The Singapore stop ties directly into the group’s world tour schedule: the Asia leg kicks off in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, on November 19, followed by four concerts at Singapore’s National Stadium on December 17, 19, 20 and 22 — the most shows announced for any single region on the Asian leg.
