TOMORROW X TOGETHER has revealed the official cover art for its ninth mini album, ‘Perfect Storm,’ adding the next piece to the comeback puzzle ahead of the album’s November 16 release.
The cover image shows a swirling vortex of blue and white storm clouds, with a black X marking the storm’s eye and the group’s name, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, printed along the bottom. The dramatic artwork extends the storm motif the group has been building since the comeback announcement.
The artwork arrived shortly after TXT released its ‘Storm Is Coming’ concept trailer on official channels, in which each of the five members faces an approaching storm — moving from anxiety and uncertainty to a leap into the unknown. The rollout began on September 27, when the group surprised fans during a Weverse livestream with a spoiler video carrying the message, ‘We need something different from anything we’ve done so far.’ BIGHIT MUSIC confirmed the album one day later.
The six-track EP arrives seven months after TXT’s eighth mini album, ‘7TH YEAR: A Moment of Stillness in the Thorns,’ which peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200. Spotify pre-saves for ‘Perfect Storm’ opened on September 28 and drew 3.5 times the first-day participation of the group’s previous release.
TXT will open its fifth world tour, ‘Steal the Wind,’ with three shows at Seoul’s KSPO Dome from November 13 to 15 — one day before ‘Perfect Storm’ drops. Tracklist and lead single details are expected to be revealed through Weverse.
