HYBE chief executive Lee Jae-sang has confirmed that BTS will keep going after the ARIRANG world tour, with more concerts still to be announced and both group and solo activities being prepared for what comes next. It is the clearest signal yet that 2027 will not be a quiet year for the group.
Lee made the remarks on November 3, as HYBE reported a record third quarter driven by the tour. According to Yonhap News Agency, the company said BTS will continue touring into the first half of next year to meet fans around the world, while also working on music and other projects in parallel.
“We are pondering their activities following the ARIRANG world tour through various forms of discussions with the BTS members,” Lee said. He added that additional concert plans related to the tour will be announced, and that group and solo activities are being prepared for after the tour ends.
The wording separates three things: the tour continuing into the first half of 2027, further concerts still to be revealed, and a post-tour phase covering both the group together and the members individually. HYBE did not announce dates, cities, or solo project details in the remarks reported by Yonhap, so the promised concert announcement will be the next source of specifics.
The update follows a huge Latin American leg. BTS closed that run in Sao Paulo on October 31 after 14 sold-out shows in five cities drew 853,000 fans, according to Big Hit Music figures previously reported by KpopFizz. The run began on October 2 in Bogota and travelled through Lima, Santiago, and Buenos Aires before the three-show Sao Paulo finale.
The tour has also powered HYBE’s business. The company reported third-quarter revenue of 1.53 trillion won, up 109.8 percent from a year earlier, and operating profit of 188.5 billion won, swinging from a 42.2 billion won loss a year earlier. Concert revenue alone reached a record 726.8 billion won, with BTS drawing up to 70,000 fans per show across Europe and the United States.
For now, the confirmed facts are the timeline and the plan: touring into the first half of 2027, more concerts to be announced, and group and solo activities in preparation. The next announcement to watch is the additional concert plan, which will show whether the tour grows beyond its current shape before the post-tour chapter begins.
