Announcer Choi Ji-hee will marry fellow Arirang TV announcer and former actor Park Ki-hoon on November 8 in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, TV Report reported on October 30, citing SPOTV News.
The report said the couple, who first met as colleagues at Arirang TV, will hold their wedding ceremony in Seoul on that date. Wedding photos released alongside the announcement show Choi in a white wedding dress and Park in a black tuxedo, holding hands and linking arms while smiling at the camera and at each other.
Football brought the two together. According to the report, they worked together at Arirang TV and grew closer through their shared love of the sport before their relationship developed from colleagues into a couple preparing for a new chapter together.
Their wedding invitation carries the same football theme. The couple asked guests to celebrate what they described as the new start of becoming a team for life, comparing life to one long match and saying they will stay by each other’s side going forward.
Choi, born in 1991, is an announcer with Arirang International Broadcasting. She is also known to variety viewers through SBS’s “Kick a Goal,” where she plays for FC Anaconda, a team that has made her love of football part of her public profile.
Park is also an announcer at Arirang International Broadcasting. He first drew attention in the 2012 SBS Supermodel Contest and later worked as an actor, appearing in dramas including “Working Mom Parenting Daddy,” “Hwarang,” and “Because This Is My First Life,” before focusing on his announcing career.
The report did not cite a separate agency statement, and it did not share further details about the ceremony’s guests or officiant. For now, the November 8 date, the Seoul venue, and the couple’s football-themed invitation are the confirmed details, with the wedding just days away at the time of the announcement.
