Former AOA member Shin Jimin has sparked concern after sharing photos of herself in a hospital patient gown on social media.
On October 14, Jimin posted several photos on her personal social media account, according to Korean outlets OSEN and Newsen. The photos showed her in a hospital gown with a noticeably gaunt face. She also shared her medical records, which listed discomfort in her neck, back, and pelvis.
Notably, the records included details of a fall accident from April, in which she tore flesh from her left thigh after falling. Her doctor reportedly advised that if the area is pain-free, it can simply be monitored, adding that it would likely fill in as time passes. Half a year later, Jimin is still dealing with the injury’s effects, prompting worried reactions from fans.
According to reports, Jimin also revealed she drank 15 cans of beer, writing that she needs to drink in order to fall asleep.
Jimin left AOA in 2020 following a bullying controversy within the group. She returned to the stage in 2022 through JTBC’s audition program ‘The Second World’ and has since been actively communicating with fans.
