Girl’s Day’s Yura has finally spoken directly about the long-running rumor that she once dated comedian Yang Se-chan.
According to Herald Muse via Naver Entertainment Wire on October 16, Yura appeared on SBS’s “Running Man” alongside Apink’s Park Cho-rong as special guests described as shaking Yang Se-chan’s heart. Yura had been repeatedly named as the “beautiful female idol” Yang Se-chan once dated.
During the recording, Yura turned to Yang Se-chan and delivered a loaded one-liner: “We dated, but really no one could tell,” sending the set into a stir. The comment stops short of a full confirmation, but it is the first time Yura has addressed the rumor to his face.
The episode also featured Park Cho-rong, whom Yang Se-chan previously named as his ideal type. When Park approached him with a dance, Yang could not hide his smile, and she teased him directly: “I came because of you, oppa — you’ll pick me, right?” Yura reportedly answered with meaningful glances of her own.
