Family medicine doctor Heo Yang-im, locked in a legal battle with her ex-husband — former Sechs Kies member Ko Ji-yong — over child support and visitation, shared a glimpse of her daily life in a new Instagram post on October 17.
In the post, reported by Money Today, Heo uploaded a short video of herself laughing with two fellow doctors, writing that she is “spending each day busily these days, wanting to do better,” and that she feels reassured working alongside experienced colleagues.
On October 14, she also told followers she plans to launch diet-related content, asking them to share diet concerns and experiences and promising to show her “main-job moment.”
The update comes as both sides trade legal filings. Ko’s side said on September 16 it sought an injunction banning Heo from obstructing visitation and from posting their son’s photos, claiming he has seen the boy only six times since their April 2024 divorce. Heo countered that there was no visitation agreement at divorce — and that she was the one who first petitioned the court for adjudication. “I will faithfully proceed with visitation in accordance with the court’s decision,” she said.
The couple married in 2013 and welcomed their son the following year; they divorced in April 2024 and disclosed it in July. A court will now decide how visitation proceeds.
