I-dle’s Yuqi is closing out a big week in China — her second solo mini album ‘二十七 (27)’ has earned a double platinum certification for digital albums on QQ Music.
According to a Seoul Economic Daily report, the album passed the double platinum mark on China’s biggest music platform as of October 10, proving her pulling power in her home market.
On October 14, Cube Entertainment released a live clip of the album’s title track “Stay” through i-dle’s official YouTube channel. The video pairs Yuqi’s husky vocals with a full band session filmed against a coastal road and crashing waves — with the singer even picking up a guitar.
“Stay,” which closes the album, carries a message about moving toward the light together with the people who matter, even in an uncertain future — a promise to keep growing side by side. The album concept compares the 27-year-old Yuqi to a sunflower, and she wrote and composed every track herself.
The certification caps a busy stretch: Yuqi held her ‘2026 YUQI Fan-Con “27”’ in Guangzhou on October 11, and the tour continues with Chengdu on October 17, followed by Beijing, Shanghai and more major Chinese cities.
No official statement beyond the report was available.
