Actor Jin Seon-gyu fired back at director Jang Hang-jun’s playful accusations with a deadpan punchline — “It’s time to take your medicine” — in a preview for the second episode of SBS’s “거장항준,” airing October 22 at 9 p.m.
According to TV Report, Jang opened by airing an old grudge: recalling their first meeting at an awards ceremony after-party, he accused Jin of “looking down on” him, saying the actor had greeted writer Kim Eun-hee far more warmly than him. Jin laughed and explained he barely knew Jang back then.
Jang then switched into full “moham-jun” (false-accusation Hang-jun) mode. He claimed that a gift of dried persimmons from Jin had concealed a thick stack of 50,000-won bills at the bottom, and joked that Jin landed his role in the drama “100일의 거짓말” thanks to a century-old wild ginseng root.
Jin was unimpressed. “Hyung, have you developed a habit of making things up?” he asked, before cutting the director off with “Take your medicine, medicine” on repeat. Co-director Kim Poong joined in, telling Jang, “Director, open your mouth now.”
Jang Hang-jun debuted with the 2002 film “라이터를 켜라” and became a ten-million-viewer director this February with “왕과 사는 남자.” The full back-and-forth between the two airs October 22 at 9 p.m. on SBS.
