Singer Kassy is closing out a year of rebuilding her musical world with a new EP titled “ODYSSEY,” with the tracklist set to be unveiled on November 9 ahead of the album’s release this month.
According to MK Sports, Kassy is preparing a new EP for release in November, the next chapter in a collaboration with independent creative label FREEVO LABEL that is now approaching its first anniversary. The report describes the EP as a project that presents the emotions and stories she has built up over time inside a single album, with the music connected organically to artwork, visual content and digital content rather than standing alone as a collection of songs.
The rollout is already underway. Kassy shared teaser artwork on November 1 featuring vivid red flowers against a dark background, with the words “KASSY NEW EP ALBUM ODYSSEY” and a note that the tracklist would be pre-released on November 9, according to TopStarNews. Her official teaser also names “Sailboat” as a pre-release track, giving fans a first taste of the EP’s direction before the full tracklist arrives.
An exact release date for the EP has not yet been announced, and no further album details, such as the title track or the number of songs, have been revealed. What is clear from the label’s description is the ambition behind it: FREEVO LABEL, whose philosophy is “Freedom Creates Bravo,” works across music production, creative direction, digital content and live production, and the EP is being framed as a chance to experience Kassy’s music in a new way, with one song’s emotion expanded across multiple creative elements into a single finished work.
The EP caps a busy year for the singer. Kassy debuted in 2015 and built her name on ballads rooted in personal experience, with producer Jo Young-soo crafting songs around her own stories. Her hits include “That Time Was Good,” “You Who Left on an Autumn Night,” “A Song With Sincerity” and “I’ll Write a Poem for You,” songs whose honest lyrics about love, parting and longing earned her the nickname that Kassy herself is a genre. MK Sports noted that those songs, born from her own experiences, resonated deeply with listeners and became comfort listening for moments of heartbreak and missing someone.
She has kept up a steady release pace through 2026. TopStarNews noted that she released the single “Love for You” on February 1, followed by “Late Regret” on April 1 and the brighter, warmer “Could I Be Happier” on June 3, with the new songs introduced through online music platforms and performances alongside various projects. The November EP is therefore her biggest statement of the year rather than a one-off return, arriving after a run of singles that kept her in front of listeners.
Last fall marked a turning point in her career, when she announced she would work with FREEVO LABEL. MK Sports described the past year as a period of laying the foundation for new creation, with music at the center and visual, video and digital content connected around it to convey the artist’s personality and musical direction in a more three-dimensional way. The label’s approach of treating music, visuals and performance as a single experience has shaped how the EP is being presented, with the floral teaser artwork itself treated as part of the album’s world rather than a simple announcement image.
The EP also leads directly into her year-end concert. Kassy will hold “KASSY 2026 CONCERT CHAPTER.01 Hello; FAREWELL” on December 12 and 13, a two-night show built around saying goodbye to the time gone by and to precious memories, and tracing the feelings that continue after parting through music. Jung Seung-je will appear as a special guest on December 12, with DK joining on December 13, adding a different flavor to each night.
Taken together, the EP and the concert mark the moment when a year of preparation becomes public. If the past year with FREEVO LABEL was about building the base, as MK Sports put it, the November album and the December stage are where that direction is shared with listeners. With the tracklist reveal on November 9 as the next milestone, fans will soon learn what stories “ODYSSEY” actually contains, and which of them Kassy chose to tell first.
