Park Bo-gum, Lee Sang-yi, and Go Kyung-pyo are opening a new hair salon by the sea. tvN announced on November 3 that its variety show “Bogum Magical 2” will premiere on November 29 at 7:45 p.m., releasing the main poster and comments from the three stars as the countdown to the first episode begins.
The new season moves the salon from winter Muju, the season-one setting, to Tongyeong, a coastal village. Park is the salon director, Lee returns as nailist, and Go joins as chef. tvN describes it as a special hair salon tending to both hair and hearts.
The main poster shows the three in aprons against the Tongyeong sea, ready to welcome customers. Individual posters confirm their roles: hairdresser, nailist, and chef. The premise stays grounded in real services for real residents.
Park enters the season newly licensed. After earning a barber’s license, he passed the national hairdresser exam on his second attempt, practicing at least four hours a day to shorten his service time and widen his range. He admitted struggling to choose rods for each customer’s hair, and thanked Lee and Go for helping through tense moments.
Lee said he feels greater responsibility and practiced more for better service, and was glad the trio reunited before the year ended. He called the show’s appeal “real” and “sincere,” and expands this season from magnet nails and nail art to pedicures and skin care.
Go, the newcomer, supports the salon’s business while taking charge of meals. He said there was no reason to turn down the chance to spend enjoyable, warm moments with good people, and described serving snacks to visiting customers alongside cooking for the two directors.
Chemistry is part of the pitch. Park said working with Lee and Go, his “Reply 1988” co-star, felt comfortable, as if they had always been together. Lee called Go a reliable older brother who advised them, praised his cooking, and admired his warmth with older customers.
No further episode details were announced. With the poster out and the premiere date set, the next test for “Bogum Magical 2” will be whether the Tongyeong salon can match the warmth of its Muju predecessor when it opens on November 29.
