Lee Jun-hyuk’s TVING original “Lotto 1st Prize Goes to Work” has ended — and it went out on top. The series logged four consecutive weeks at No. 1 in TVING’s weekend subscription contribution chart, including the weekly category, before wrapping with episodes 9 and 10 on October 8.
According to TenAsia, the finale followed Kong Eun-tae (Lee Jun-hyuk) as he resolved his company’s crisis and settled into a new routine with his colleagues. The global numbers tell the story too: the drama hit No. 1 in the drama category on Disney+ Japan (No. 2 overall), earned an 8.5 rating on Russia and Central Asia’s IVI platform, reached No. 5 overall on Rakuten Viki, and entered the top 4 on Mongolia’s Inche TV.
The finale packed in resolutions: Ji-hye (Ha Yul-ri) politely held her ground against Martina’s (Yoon Se-a) unreasonable contract demands, prompting Martina to sign; Hongseong finalized its deal with Mantova; and Eun-tae, despite asking the CEO to convert Ji-hye to a full-time role, saw her contract ended — only for her to land a new opportunity at Mantova.
The closing shot kept the premise intact: a lottery jackpot doesn’t change Eun-tae. “I lived the same day as yesterday, and tomorrow will be the same,” he says, heading to work as usual.
All episodes are available on TVING, and the series also airs on tvN every Monday and Tuesday at 9 p.m.
