Park Seo-jin Turns Minhwa Hobby into Ambassador Role and Solo Exhibition cover

Singer Park Seo-jin has turned his folk-painting hobby into an official cultural role, named a promotional ambassador of the Korea Minhwa Promotion Association at the K-Minhwa Insadong Festival.

According to a report by MHN on October 15, Park’s minhwa works — long introduced as a personal hobby — drew growing public attention, leading first to an exhibition and now the ambassadorship.

Park is holding a solo exhibition titled “Minhwa Park” from October 14 to 19 at Insa Art Plaza in Insadong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, showing works he painted himself, including “Wolwol Obongdo Sapbyeong,” a folding screen in traditional motifs and vivid colors. He previously earned a special selection at the 18th International Traditional Arts Competition.

Earlier, Park and his younger sister Park Hyo-jung reached the finals of the “2026 National Museum of Korea Costume Play” event with a witty reinterpretation of Kim Hong-do’s “Ssireum,” a process shown on KBS 2TV’s “Mr. House Husband Season 2.”

No official statement was available.

Park released his new digital single “Sewol Igil Jangsa Inna” on October 7 and continues to appear on “Mr. House Husband.”
