Solbi and Lee Kyu-han have made their first appearance as a couple since announcing their marriage, sitting side by side on Solbi’s YouTube channel ‘SOLBI IS BACK’ to introduce her fiancé to fans.
According to a report by the Hankook Ilbo, the video titled “Let Me Introduce My Fiancé” was uploaded on October 22. The singer-turned-painter and the veteran actor talked about their marriage and the flood of attention since their wedding announcement earlier this month.
“I said I would get married within three years, and to keep that promise, I wanted to introduce my fiancé,” Solbi said with a shy smile. Lee Kyu-han introduced himself in return: “I am Lee Kyu-han, the fiancé of Solbi, who is about to marry the most beautiful person in the world.”
Solbi said it was the couple’s first broadcast together since KBS Joy’s dating show ‘Old Encounters Pursuit,’ admitting they felt a little awkward. Lee Kyu-han revealed he has subscribed to her channel since right after the show — and has “liked her for 20 years.”
The two also revisited the moment their feelings surfaced. Solbi asked why he reached for her hand in the car during a hand-holding mission. Lee Kyu-han said he was driving on an unfamiliar road, checking the navigation, with Solbi beside him — “wanting to hold her hand just came out of me unconsciously.”
Solbi and Lee Kyu-han will marry in April 2027 in a private ceremony with family, relatives, and close friends.
