Top model Choi Sora is a mother. She welcomed a baby girl seven years after marrying photographer Lee Kobe in 2019, and introduced her newborn to fans over the weekend.
On October 11, Choi posted a photo on her personal SNS showing herself smiling brightly while holding her newborn daughter. She had already revealed the birth in an earlier post, and congratulatory messages from fans and fellow celebrities have poured in.
According to MHN Sports, which first reported the news on October 12, the baby’s name is Lee Choi. Choi previously told Vogue Korea that she combined her husband’s family name Lee and her own Choi for the name.
The story revived memories of Choi’s headline-making runway moment earlier this year. On May 26, she appeared pregnant at Chanel’s 2026 Metiers d’art collection show in Seoul, in an outfit showing off her D-line, drawing praise from the fashion world.
Netizens commented “So cool,” “Choi walked the Chanel show before birth,” and “the most beautiful D-line in the world.” The child who had already strolled the Chanel runway from inside her mother’s belly has now arrived.
Choi rose to fame after winning OnStyle’s Supermodel Korea 3 in 2012. She has walked for Louis Vuitton and other top fashion houses, and in 2017 models.com named her one of the Top 50 models, becoming one of Korea’s most recognized global faces.
No additional family statement has been released. Fans are simply celebrating the newest arrival.
