NMIXX has treated fans to a new performance video for “Birthday Wish,” dropping the clip on the group’s official YouTube channel on October 21.
The video leans into a full retro concept. Titled “20101022_Dolphin Class_School Talent Show,” it frames the six members as classmates performing at a school talent show dated October 22, 2010 — a playful sixteen-year throwback.
The video description stays in character, written from the perspective of the Dolphin Class’s homeroom teacher. The note praises the six members for practicing hard since the hot summer and teases that a privately shot, personal-collection version of the footage could be shared if fans respond well.
“Birthday Wish” is the title track of NMIXX’s sixth EP “Strange Muse,” released October 19 at 6 p.m. KST. Per Soompi, the song is a pop track built on a mix of moombahton, afro, and future house.
The release lands in the first week of the group’s comeback promotions. Lily, Haewon, Sullyoon, Bae, Jiwoo, and Kyujin returned after about five months since their last EP, riding on the group’s first-ever daesang, “Sound of the Year,” at The Fact Music Awards in September 2026.
The performance video keeps the “Strange Muse” rollout moving as NMIXX continues first-week activities for the new EP.
