POLARIX member Yang Donghwa has released the music video for “BLUR,” the title track of his second solo single, “Asymptote.” The clip was uploaded to his official YouTube channel, whose description bills the release as “YANGDONGHWA 2nd Single [Asymptote].”
A teaser uploaded to the same channel days earlier announced the release for October 15 at 12 p.m. KST. The finished music video surfaced on r/kpop’s new queue on October 16, where it quickly picked up attention among the subreddit’s latest posts.
“BLUR” marks Donghwa’s second single as a solo artist. He made his solo debut on February 18, 2024 with the digital single “Blackout,” on which he holds writing, composing, arranging, and producing credits according to his KOMCA-adapted discography listings. He is also credited as a writer and producer on tracks for Bae Jinyoung and INFINITE.
The singer-songwriter is signed to Bluedot Entertainment and performs as a member of the nine-member project boy group POLARIX, formed through iQIYI’s survival show Starlight Boys and debuted on May 28, 2025 with the EP “Freefall.” Donghwa previously finished sixth on MBN’s 2022 survival show “The Origin - A, B, or What?” and was a pre-debut member of ATBO before leaving the lineup.
Further details about the single have not been shared on the channel so far. The release keeps Donghwa’s solo run going alongside his group activities with POLARIX.
