BIG Naughty is officially married. The 23-year-old rapper announced on October 14 that he has completed his marriage registration, tying the knot with the 10-year crush who inspired some of his most beloved songs.
According to The Korea Daily, a representative from his agency H1GHR MUSIC confirmed to OSEN on the afternoon of the 14th that the artist has become a legally married couple with his longtime girlfriend. Earlier that day, BIG Naughty personally shared the happy news through a fan communication platform, saying he decided to spend the rest of his life with the friend who inspired “Vancouver” and “Vancouver 2.”
The announcement came alongside the release of his new song “Vancouver 3 (찐막),” which fans quickly decoded as a wedding announcement tied to the same storyline.
The rapper first opened up about the relationship back in 2023 on KBS 2TV’s “The Seasons – AKMU’s Long Day, Long Night,” revealing that his long-unrequited crush had finally become a real romance. At the time he shared that his girlfriend was a non-celebrity living in Vancouver, Canada, telling fans, “Let’s not give up on unrequited love.”
Meanwhile, BIG Naughty began alternative military service as a social worker on September 10. In a handwritten letter to fans, he promised to faithfully complete his duties and return with better music in one year and nine months, thanking supporters for seven years since his November 2019 debut after “Show Me the Money 8.”
