Geonwoo Talks Solo Transformation, Identity and Life at 26 in New Pictorial Interview cover

Singer Geonwoo has unveiled a new photo spread showcasing a versatile charm that moves between intensity and softness.

According to a report by Sports Kyunghyang, the pictorial was followed by an interview in which Geonwoo spoke candidly about his concerns as a soloist, his musical changes, and his upcoming activities.

Having gone through both team and solo activities, Geonwoo said he is still finding his own color. “If my first interview felt younger and more playful, I’ve settled down in a good way over the years,” he said. “I think I’m at the stage of gradually establishing my identity.” He added that he now thinks deeply about which image suits him — a question he never used to ask himself.

Turning 26 has become a moment of reflection. Where he once wanted to try everything lightly, Geonwoo said he now wants to take on challenges more seriously.

Solo work has given him fresh perspective: creating his own choreography taught him the difficulty of making things from scratch and deepened his appreciation for his staff. He also looked back on challenging an audition program after his debut — he missed the stage and the energy of an idol team. Though he did not reach the finals, he walked away with no regrets.

His happiest moments still come on stage with fans. “The words of fans who notice my changes give me the strength to keep going,” he said. No official announcement about his next release was mentioned.
