Japanese singer-songwriter FUMINO has premiered the music video for ‘sunaomiman (素直未満),’ her fifth single and the new opening theme of TV anime Ranma 1/2’s third season. The video went up on her official YouTube channel at 9:30 p.m. JST on October 15, 2026, right after a release celebration live stream she held with viewers at 9 p.m.
The single was released digitally on October 5, 2026. FUMINO wrote the lyrics and co-composed the music, taking inspiration from the anime’s characters. According to THE FIRST TIMES, she shaped the track around the two sides everyone has and the aching frustration of being unable to be honest with someone precisely because you care about them, set to a driving pop-rock sound.
‘sunaomiman’ was first performed live on September 27 at Zepp DiverCity in Tokyo, the final show of her first Zepp tour, where the crowd responded with loud enthusiasm, Billboard JAPAN reported.
FUMINO was a finalist on Chanmina and SKY-HI’s audition program No No Girls before debuting in January 2026 with ‘Favorite Song’ as the first artist of Chanmina’s No Label Artists label. She is signed to B-Rave, the talent agency division of SKY-HI’s BMSG.
Ranma 1/2 season 3 began airing on Nippon TV on October 3, with FUMINO’s track as its opening and Yuika’s ‘kawakunai’ as its ending theme. The full music video is now streaming on FUMINO’s official YouTube channel.
