SEVENTEEN’s Jeonghan and Joshua have launched a brand-new self-produced series, “GOING JxJ SPECIAL: THE DREAM GAME SHOW,” with the first episode dropping on the group’s official YouTube channel on October 14.
According to Sports Kyunghyang, the special is built around one question: dream or reality? The two enter either the “dream room” or the “reality room” and explain their space to fellow member Seungkwan, who must sort dream from reality based only on what they tell him. They can lie or tell the truth, sometimes teaming up to fool him and sometimes keeping each other in check, with their smooth-talking on full display.
The duo, long cast as the “intelligence characters” of GOING SEVENTEEN, overwhelmed Seungkwan with their eloquence from the first round, teasing him with lines like “I have no intention of deceiving you.” Seungkwan was left so shaken he called it a “scary broadcast.” Round one ended in an easy Jeonghan x Joshua victory: Seungkwan believed every word and scored zero points.
Round two got tenser as the two argued each other’s claims apart. Jeonghan played his trump card — “I’ve lived with Seungkwan for 12 years” — only for Joshua to counter that this was exactly why Seungkwan should know how well Jeonghan lies in games. Seungkwan trusted Jeonghan and got it right this time, and the episode closes with the pair appealing to his emotions, leaving the final outcome hanging.
